Pass the state exam
We prepare you for the California CNA certification exam through Credentia. Then step onto the healthcare career ladder.
Program information
Everything a prospective student needs to know—fees, schedule, requirements, and where clinicals happen.
Program length
5-week program, 160 total hours minimum: 60 hours theory + 100 hours supervised clinical. Must be completed within 4 months of enrollment.
Required coursework
17 CDPH-approved modules covering infection control, patient rights, vital signs, ADLs, emergency procedures, and more.
Grade requirements
Minimum 70% on each of the 17 module tests and a Satisfactory rating in clinical rotation to earn your certificate.
Clinical sites
Clinical rotations at CDPH-approved skilled nursing facilities in Visalia, California.
Technology requirements
Computer, laptop, or tablet with camera, mic, and speakers. Reliable internet required for live online classes.
Training program fees
What's not included in tuition
Students provide their own: khaki scrub bottoms, closed-toe slip-resistant water-proof nursing or athletic shoes, analog watch with a second hand (smart watches not permitted), notebook, and pens/pencils. Health clearances—TB test, physical exam, and Live Scan fingerprinting—are also the student's responsibility.
The approximately $150 California state certification exam fee is paid directly to Credentia after program completion.
